It’s asking the public to help out TODAY between 2 and 4 p.m. by stopping by at 320 Putnam St. to pick up free produce, and free up kitchen space in the process.
Eau Claire library seeks public input through Dec. 7 on plans for major expansion
The L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire is seeking public input from now through Dec. 7 on its plans for a major expansion.
The project would add a third story to the existing building at 400 Eau Claire St. and expand the first and second floors outward to the corner of Eau Claire and Dewey Streets. The project would also upgrade and modernize the building’s infrastructure as well as providing additional space for such additions as a 250-seat performance space. The estimated cost is $23 million.
Dedication ceremony set for 4 p.m. Monday at YMCA’s newly acquired indoor sports facility
The public is invited to attend this afternoon’s ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony at the Eau Claire YMCA’s recently acquired indoor sports center.
The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the former Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, 2456 Craig Rd. The facility will be named the L. E. Phillips YMCA Sports Center.
