Discussion of the 2023 budget request is a top agenda item for Monday night’s meeting of the Eau Claire County Human Services Board.
The board is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. in ground floor room GO34 at the county’s Government Center, 721 Oxford Ave. As usual, there will be an opportunity for public comments early in the agenda.

Anne Woolever, who has worked at Reach, Inc. for 19 years, has been named the organization’s new CEO by its Board of Directors.
Reach, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation that provides human services to Eau Claire County residents with disabilities. It was established in 1963 with three staff members and fewer than 10 clients and now serves 900 families and clients annually with a staff of more than 150 people, according to its website.
Woolever began her new duties in mid-September, moving up from her previous position as vice-president of operations. She previously served as director of adult programs for the organization and brings many years of advocacy for individuals with disabilities to her new role, according to a Reach, Inc. press release.

Mayo Clinic Health System has expanded its School and Student Support Grant program to include school districts in five area counties.
Online applications are due by Sept. 30. The program, previously open to individual public and private K-12 schools, now also includes school districts in Barron, Dunn, Chippewa, Eau Claire and Trempealeau counties.
Grant awards are generally between $1,000 and $5,000, with a maximum of $5,000. More information about this program, including a link to the application form, is available by clicking on the headline
