Eau Claire’s L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library has launched a building feasibility study and space needs analysis, and is looking for public input.
The studies are intended to guide the planning of possible changes to the Library building and grounds to meet the community’s immediate and long-term needs. Area residents can register their opinions via a brief (five minutes) online survey, which is available at http://www.ecpubliclibrary.info/reimagine/.
A Milwaukee firm, Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Inc., is working with Library staff to provide professional assessment services for this project. On Thursday (June 1), project manager David Drews met with Library visitors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. “to discuss their reimagined Library,” according to a Library press release.
Those completing the online survey will have an opportunity to win a $50 gift certificate from the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. The certificate is redeemable at more than 400 participating Chamber members’ businesses.
