Contributors to United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley will have several opportunities in the coming months to see first-hand how their donations impact the community and make a difference.
United Way has scheduled monthly half-day tours which will stop at several of its program partner sites. Each location will provide information about the services provided there.
The first of these tours took place on Tuesday (June 27). Additional tours available to the public are scheduled for Sept. 26, Oct. 18 and Nov. 2. Tours in July and August are intended primarily for employee campaign coordinators.
Space on the future tours may be reserved by calling Dustin Olson at 715-834-5043 or e-mailing him at dolson@uwgcv.org. Tours are scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The tours are “a great way to learn more about your community and how your United Way support is changing lives here in the Chippewa Valley,” according to a press release from the organization.
Transportation for these “Impact” tours is provided by Student Transit of Eau Claire. Further information is available at www.uwgcv.org/impact tours.
