The 25th annual “Give a Kid a Book” program, which began at the end of October, will continue to seek donations through Dec. 21. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. It donates more than 4,000 books each holiday season to various local agencies. In turn, these agencies distribute the books to families in need.
