The CVPost’s “6 of Substance” series is part of our effort to provide news of area nonprofit organizations and increase public awareness of their missions and activities. This week’s featured organization is the Mahmoud S. Taman Foundation, which focuses on promotion of humanity through interfaith outreach actions (especially those advocating for inclusivity of Islam), civic participation, peace education, humanitarian issues, health promotion (including mental health awareness and advocacy), education and literacy, arts and culture.
