JONAH Organizer Lynn Buske said the grant will fund a project whose goal is to change government policies that create barriers for people seeking affordable housing. It will also look at policies that create barriers to health care, she added. “People who have experienced the need for affordable housing or barriers to housing” will be recruited to help “develop a strategy for policy changes that will help eliminate those barriers,” she said in an email interview.
