Madison policeman offers hope that racism and mistrust can be overcome in police-community relations – Chippewa Valley Post
Racist attitudes, frayed relations between police and the communities they serve and possible ways to improve those relations were all part of Corey Saffold’s talk Wednesday night at the L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire. Saffold is a black police officer from Madison who says he is on a mission to educate people about police work with the goal of reducing police-community tensions.
