Or that Wisconsin has almost reached the point of no waiting lists to obtain services for children and adults with disabilities? These statistics are relevant as we wait for the next developments in the ongoing saga of Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (ACA, or “Obamacare”). This past week, 85 people in the Chippewa Valley and at video remote sites in Hudson and Rhinelander attended a meeting about the impact of proposed changes in the ACA and Medicaid on children, adults and elders with disabilities as well as on their families and service providers.
