'Sideline Dispatches': 'Safer at Home' is like having a disability – Chippewa Valley Post
By Katherine Schneider, for the CVPost Three times a week, Kathie Schneider will dispense hope, heart and occasionally a bit of humor on the coronavirus and its impact, written from the perspective of a retired Chippewa Valley clinical psychologist, blind from birth. In today's dispatch, Kathie compares some of the feelings produced by the "Safer at Home" edict with those experienced regularly by the 20% of the population that lives daily with a disability. The goal of these dispatches is to help relieve some of the stress that’s unavoidable in our current situation. Please let us know if we're succeeding at that.
