The Eau Claire County Committee on Finance and Budget will hold its 2020 County Budget Public Listening Session on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 6 p.m. in the L.E. Philips Memorial Public Library.
This listening session will allow the public to provide input regarding the county’s budget for 2020, as well as express their opinions in regard to other aspects of county operations.
Following an introduction of committee members, an overview of the county budget process will be provided and paired with a brief discussion regarding any relevant actions that must be taken.
Next, a public input session will commence. The Committee on Finance and Budget would like to encourage community members to contribute their thoughts and ideas.
In 2019, the Eau Claire County adopted a budget of $113,657,654. Stakeholder input for this budget was obtained via budget survey, POLCO polling tools and two public input sessions.
