Three months after it ended, UW-Eau Claire’s January Civil Rights Pilgrimage is still fresh in my mind.
The trip is an educational opportunity that focuses on the roots of the civil rights movement that began in the 1960s.

CVSO, CVJO bring own perspectives to ‘Nutcracker Suite’ and other familiar compositions: a CVPost concert review
Friday night’s concert at the Pablo Center at the Confluence featured nearly 70 of the area’s top classsical and jazz musicians performing selections from the “Nutcracker Suite”
and symphonies by Mozart and Beethoven in a unique format. At times, it felt like a “battle of the bands,” with both groups displaying outstanding musicianship.

CVPost to resume reviews of Chippewa Valley music events
