Voter registration is once again at the heart of a legal battle that has reached the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
On one side are those who insist that the state must deactivate voters en masse if they are on the list of registrants who may have moved. The opposing side argues that such a move is tantamount to voter suppression.
At stake is the voting status of 129,151 voters who may have moved and who would then be required by law to re-register. The issue is currently before the state Supreme Court.
