By Katherine Schneider, for the CV Post
In this space, during the past COVID-filled year, Kathie Schneider has offered heart, hope and occasionally a bit of humor on a weekly basis. As we now head for some type of “new normal,” her columns will appear every other week.
Kathie writes from the perspective of a retired Chippewa Valley clinical psychologist, blind from birth. She will continue to deal with some aspects of the coronavirus pandemic, since we have all been greatly affected by living through it this past year, but her columns may focus increasingly on broader topics.
In this column, Kathie provides seven suggestions for energizing the brain toward the level at which it functioned in the pre-pandemic world. And she asks her readers to send her two things – examples of positive uses of the word “old,” and suggestions for a future column.
