Eau Claire County residents will have two opportunities on Sept. 12 to dispose of electronic and toxic waste materials that can’t be tossed in the trash.
First Choice Computer Recycling and WRR Environmental Services will be participating in this “Clean Sweep” effort, from 8 a.m. to noon. A photo ID and proof of county residence will be required before anything can be dropped off at either site.
Residents of the portion of the city of Eau Claire that is in Chippewa County are eligible to take part in this clean-up effort.
A similar pair of events on July 11 collected a total of 56.2 tons of materials.
