If you want to tell the Eau Claire County Board what you think about its proposed 2019 budget, mark the evening of Thursday, Aug. 9 on your electronic calendar or circle it if your calendar is still one you can write on.
Eau Claire County residents will get another opportunity to express their opinions when the Board’s Finance and Budget Committee holds its second listening session at 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the L. E. Phillips Senior Center, 1616 Bellinger St. in Eau Claire. Obtaining public input on the proposed budget for next year will be the only topic on that evening’s agenda.
The five-member committee’s first listening session took place on Thursday evening (July 26) at the Augusta city hall.
