Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore has announced new hours, due to an increase in donations and the need for time to process them.
The facility, at 145 N. Clairmont Ave., will be closed on Sunday and Monday. It will be open for shopping, donations and drop-offs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. On Tuesday, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but only for donations and drop-offs.
The ReStore sells new and used donated furniture, appliances, remodeling supplies, construction items, and home décor. The revenue it generates goes toward Habitat home building and repair programs to help local families and community members.
Donations, volunteers, and new customers are always welcome at the ReStore, according to a press release from the organization.
Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity has been serving the area since 1991 and has built over 40 homes in that time. Its ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of landfills. Information about donating or volunteering is available at info@cvh4h.org or by calling 715-895-8177.
