Four Chippewa Valley writers will team up with a pair of musicians Thursday evening (Mar. 4) for an online program of nature-filled and animal-inspired songs and stories.
The program is a collaboration between the musicians and the Chippewa Valley Writers Guild (CVWG). It is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
The 90-minute free presentation – “All Creatures Great and Small” – is a Pablo Stream event. It will be hosted by B. J. Hollars, executive director of the CVWG.

Program participants
Writers on the program include Steve Betchkal, Katherine Schneider, John Hildebrand and Bekah Weitz. Music will be provided by Humbird and The Nunnery.
Humbird is Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Siri Undlin. The Nunnery is a solo act of Sarah Elstran.
Betchkal is an Eau Claire-based ornithologist, writer and environmentalist who produced some 11,000 news stories in his 30 years as an award-winning TV journalist. Schneider, a retired clinical psychologist, has written four books in retirement and is a frequent speaker and advocate regarding disability issues. She also writes a regular column for the CVPost.
Hildebrand is the author of five non-fiction books and has written for publications ranging from Harper’s to Sports Illustrated. Weitz has spent the last 16 years working professionally in the animal welfare world, mostly as an animal cruelty investigator.
