Anne Woolever, who has worked at Reach, Inc. for 19 years, has been named the organization’s new CEO by its Board of Directors.
Reach, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation that provides human services to Eau Claire County residents with disabilities. It was established in 1963 with three staff members and fewer than 10 clients and now serves 900 families and clients annually with a staff of more than 150 people, according to its website.
Woolever began her new duties in mid-September, moving up from her previous position as vice-president of operations. She previously served as director of adult programs for the organization and brings many years of advocacy for individuals with disabilities to her new role, according to a Reach, Inc. press release.
“These are challenging times for many non-profit service providers,” Woolever said. “Reach’s impact on each person and families is amazing. I am very excited to continue to grow the Reach programs to better meet the needs of the Chippewa Valley.”
As CEO, Woolever is responsible for the overall operations of all Reach programs and locations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW-La Crosse and graduated in 2019 from the Leadership Eau Claire program offered through the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce.
She is an active member of the state Disability Service Provider Network and served on the Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley Board of Directors from 2015 to 2018. Woolever lives with her family in Elk Mound.
